Howdy,

My name, as one might guess, is Jessica Winton.
While living in Westmount and around Montreal, I’ve spent my time growing to be the person I am today.

I think politics have become dominated by people who don’t act quickly enough to the changes in our world as their backgrounds require a lot of catch up to understand the available tools for our cities to shine as the jewels of Canada they truly are.

Our society is built from collectives that aim to improve life for everyone, something I continue to do everyday through my involvement with multiple organizations.

A graduate of Concordia University and Dawson College, I hold a Bachelor’s in Urban Planning and a DEC in Interactive Media Arts.

My work has focused on advocating for environmental justice, community engagement and empowering others to live the lives they want to live.

This includes my current work of obtaining my Master’s of Environmental Sustainability at the University of Ottawa, supervised by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

If you ever see me walking around, taking the bus, or even riding a Bixi, don’t be afraid to say hi! Despite my height, I don’t bite!
