My Personal Projects

Degrees
Not necessarily a project but just something nice to know!
Masters: Environmental Sustainability from the University of Ottawa (in progress)
Bachelors: Urban Planning from Concordia University
DEC: Interactive Media from
Dawson College

Waste Invaders
Waste Invaders was my original project for Concordia’s Sustainability Ambassador Program. The arcade style game is meant to educate people how to properly sort their waste at Concordia in a fun and interactive way! I received over $6,000 in grants for the project to help hire a team with its development. The game also collects data based on how people score to better inform research initiatives surrounding waste management.
It will also be playable online shortly!

Queer Concordia
At Concocrdia I spent 2 years as an Event Coordinator for Queer Concordia and am currently its President!
As a registered non-profit I created our Gender Affirming Insurance fund which provides up to $10,000 per students to help manage the upfront cost of procedures covered by insurance. Through this structure we don’t lose any money!
Additionally, I’ve organized dozens of events including our Queer Prom that had over 150 people!

Westmount’s Environmental Advisory Committee
As a member of Westmount’s Environmental Advisory, I bring expertise on Waste Management policy, Transit policy and more!
If you ever have questions about our recommendations, don’t hesitate to ask.

Westmount City Council Campaign 2025
I believe being proactive includes all areas of life! Cities are near and dear to my heart so there would be nothing greater than serving my community. To see my expanded platform, visit the archive page for relevant information.
Or check out some of the videos I made for the campaign!

Westmount-St. Louis Youth Council
This Iteration of our MNA’s youth council focused primarily on issues regarding the implementation of Bill 96, in addition to topics on housing.

Affordable Housing Advocacy
As my Bachelor’s is in Urban Planning, I felt it was important to go beyond the classroom and advocate for affordability so that all generations can afford to live not only in Westmount, but Quebec. Having met directly with our MNA and Mayor to discuss the topics alongside professors, I took it upon myself to get further involved with a housing coalition called Construisons Montreal, a grassroots effort to engage the Montreal community to build housing initiatives that benefit our communities.

Want some more information on what I touched on? Look at the this brief presentation I showed to the Mayor of Westmount and our MNA, Jennifer Maccarone!
Research Projects
At Concordia I’ve been a research assistant to help with projects for Concordia’s Office of Sustainability including a survey on waste management behaviours, funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada and for
OpenWaste.AI, a computer vision app that aims to help people sort their waste directly!

The Concordia Games Club &
Accessible Arcade
Games are a medium that transcend language for many and can be the start of bonds. At Concordia, I received a grant to create an arcade cabinet that is free to play for anyone with over 50 games that the Games Club had! Materials were repurposed for its construction and it consumes less power than some phone chargers! All for the cost of $800

It Gets Better Canada Youth Council
As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, we face dire times. Part of my role on their Youth Council is to give talks to queer youth and show how supportive communities can really lay the path for a positive future no matter your identity.
